The absorption time of the Skylla-TG 48V 25A (1+1) battery charger is customizable. In the event of low discharge, the absorption step is shorter to avoid overcharging the battery.
In the event of a deep discharge, the absorption time is automatically increased to fully recharge the battery. Similarly, Victron’s unique BatterySafe charging algorithm will prohibit the battery from gassing once it has achieved the proper voltage.

Its storage mode prevents battery aging. If it senses that a battery is not in use, it automatically lowers the float voltage to prevent corrosion or over-gassing.

After a few days, the voltage is restored to the absorption level to recondition the battery. This technique avoids the electrolyte from sulphating and stratifying, which is the root cause of most battery problems.

As standard, the Skylla-TG battery charger includes a temperature sensor for the battery. As the battery temperature rises, the voltage will be forced to decrease, resulting in a longer battery life.

It may be used as a power supply in cases when batteries are not accessible due to its flawlessly stabilized voltage output. It can also be powered by both DC and AC.
